New iPhone App provides access to network monitoring solution anytime, any place

The enhanced application is a convenient and time-saving tool for IT administrators who are already using the network monitoring software PRTG Network Monitor by Paessler AG to monitor bandwidth, availability and usage of their IT network. Mobile access makes continuous monitoring possible, enabling IT administrators to identify problems and resolve them before they escalate and seriously impact the business. iPRTG has been designed exclusively for the iPhone allows IT administrators to remotely monitor their network, anytime and from any location – without the need for a laptop or computer.Enhanced functionality in version two of iPRTG gives administrators a high level of interactivity with their network monitoring software. They can not only see if there is a problem, but can also take the various actions directly from their iPhone. Users can drill down through the sensor-tree of probes, groups and devices to review and acknowledge alarms. Charts show the network status at a glance. Administrators can also manage multiple accounts on different PRTG servers, while the optimized ‘Maps’ feature allows easy selection and review of all network maps, using the simple touch-screen navigation.
